Sharing Love is our Business
We just received a copy of PACC DC’s newsletter. Here’s to thank PHILIPPINE AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF METRO WASHINGTON DC | President Cristina Sison once again for their great effort to help us continue with our mission. See our letter below:
Dear Officers, Board Members and Members,
I am writing on behalf of Love Sweatshop to say thank you for your donation. We appreciate how you have noticed our mask making group and for supporting our advocacy to provide free non-medical grade face masks to frontliners, seniors, families, children and the homeless.
Thanks to people and groups like you, more than a thousand masks have been made and donated since we started. This project taught people how we should be taking care of each other and to be responsible not only to oneself but also to others. Not only did we promote awareness but we also made our ‘neighbors’ feel loved and cared for. We know that this pandemic took away not only lives but also livelihood and the freedom to enjoy our families, friends and community among others. By contributing to Love Sweatshop, the Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce made a meaningful impact in the community and helped provide essential non-medical grade face masks to people in need.
Finally, we are grateful for PACC President Cristina Sison, for her support and initiative. For her humility and kindness to distribute the masks to those in need. We are so glad that you joined us in this wonderful journey to fight this pandemic. Let us stay positive that we will attain victory over this battle soon.
Once again, thank you very much to the Chamber!
Stay safe and God bless!
Sincerely,
Love Sweatshop
